Everyone last weekend the Holden VF Commodore was unveiled to the public with the Calais V model being shown first in Australia. While this past week & yesterday the Holden Commodore SS & the Chevrolet SS were unveiled.

The SS picks up right where the venerated Pontiac G8 GT and GXP left off. I'd love to see how it'd square up against cars in the sport sedan class. (Such as the M3, which the G8 was able to beat!)
I could see myself driving one of these. Put some thick black racing stripes down the middle, then tint the windows 10%. Removing the cats and disabling the EGR would be some of the first performance mods I'd do.... hehe. |

Indeed. Figured this would be an easier way to stay in touch than over youtube. Wonder how long it'll be before we start seeing Ligenfelter and SLP variants of the SS. It's only a matter of time. Us hot rodders are rarely ever satisfied with stock performance.

The one and only! Downloaded a TON of mods yesterday, including some of yours that apparently weren't up on the old NFS Police HQ. I'm sure you'll recognize some in the next NFS HS Pursuit Compilation.

I like to see the continual improvements coming out from Holden. These gains are quite small but they all add up to become significant.

I do too. Pity they are coming to an end . I don't know if you heard, but Holden officially ceases production this year, after Toyota and Ford in Australia did the same last year. Holden will soon be a name-only brand. No more cars will be made in Australia.
