I recently had a chat with the Carbondale Police Dept. via FaceBook and they helped me with making the 1978 Dodge Monaco by providing more pics of that car that hadn't been released yet on their site as well as pics of other police cars from the years which I will be making soon. Some of the other cars pics hadn't been released yet either.

Thanks but these flashers and gumballs was unique, They was using the same gumball Michigan State Police use (red with small white stripes) on some of the cars and the flashers was big Whelen lolipops, I crafted my own setup by modding some CHP back window lights. -------------------- I'm 10-80..All units 10-0!

1981 Dodge Diplomats were keeping use of the Michigan State Police style light but a change from the striped version to a all red cover, By 1985 these replaced the ageing 1978 Monaco and 1979 Ford Fairmont fleet.
1985 Dodge Diplomat with TwinSonic and the yellow flashers this time appear in the back window. Note this one is traffic police, Traffic police always had yellow flashers on in the back window in addition to having them on the lightbar on the gumball models, ALL the fleet had the standard gumball/flashers bar with yellow back flashers before the wide spread use of TwinSonics. -------------------- I'm 10-80..All units 10-0!
