Hi guys this is my first post but I have been on here getting cars for HS and need for speed 3 for a while now. So know that I have finished my very brief intro lets get straight to the point...

I am sure you have noticed if you have played need for speed 3 (or the need for speed 3 tracks on HS) that tracks like hometown and country woods have a common starting and ending point. so lets talk about that. Here is my idea (it may sound crazy but here it goes) I would like to remake these tracks... not in HD or even in better quality but combine them the tracks that I would like combined are.

atlantica - aquatica (I appologize for misspelling if I do)
redrock ridge - lost canyons

bonus would be hometown and country woods

I was wondering if anyone would be up for this I am not as talented as most of you and probably could not do this but if you email me resources I could give it a shot.

look forward to seeing you guys!

Fun Fact autumn vally speedway has a billboard in need for speed 3 (thats an Easter egg to the need for speed or NFSX or NFS1 depending who you talk to and its also Ironic because autumn is the season it is in the hometown track)

PS. I would check out the secret tracks they are very cool.

thanks,
Sam

PSS( dont kill me for coming back) I would love to see TR02B ported to the PC I am so jellous of the PSX track and maybe we could even finish it!

Hello and welcome to the site.

I don't really make tracks (I'm busy making police cars), but your idea sounds interesting. Someone did that sort of thing for a game called World Racing 2, which I have. Atlantica/Aquatica and Redrock/Canyons were combined and ported to WR2, with HD textures; because WR2's tracks are open-world environments. Which game were you thinking of making these for?

I can think of one issue: Hometown is in Autumn but Country Woods is in Winter. It's similar with Rocky Pass and Summit.

I agree with NFS Police Force; NFSCars is your best bet. Good luck with your projects!

Just out of curiosity; what is TR02B and what are the "secret tracks"?

PS: The fact that both Autumn Valley Speedway and Hometown are in Autumn is not ironic; it's a coincidence.

I think you're better off with http://nfsaddons.com/forums/ as several track makers as well as the guy currently developing T3ed, the track editing tool, are active members there.

By the way, your idea is not crazy, several people had it. And I think to some degree it may be possible nowadays considering the possibilities of T3ed. But the AI will not be able to use both tracks and there may be other problems arising.

first off... Thanks guys your time and effort is appreciated SO MUCH also thanks for the quick time and recommendations!....

there is a problem with country woods and hometown that wasn't mentioned..... they are not actually cannon..(I don't mean in a story tongue.png) I mean they overlap.

but great community here and the only thing I found wrong was that it was hard for me to find the right forum to post this in I was a but confused.

are you guys in association with any of the sites listed and do you know any people there that would be interested in this that I could approach?

thanks again!,
Sam

As far as I can tell, MADMAN_nfs is the most skilled HS track modder over there. And a very helpful guy. Like all of us Germans biggrin.png

I personally like the Hometown techno track the best.

Everytime I played NFS III, I always played hometown mostly since when I started playing that game I was 8 years old, and that was the only track I found fun and easiest.

There is an awesome artist called Synesthesics, he remixes a lot of those tracks. And they're reeeeeaaallly good. Check him out on Youtube.
