Hi there,

Had a question regarding replacing the police cars in NFS:MW (2005). I recently downloaded some police vehicles that were made to replace the Heat Level 1 (Copmidsize) and Heat Level 2 (Copghost) police cars, however, I would like to replace the Heat Level 3 and Heat Level 4 cars (The GTO and unmarked GTO) instead. I replaced the folder name, as well as changed the values in car.ini and the Attributes.mwps files. However, when I get in game, the cars are simply invisible. I was wondering if there is anything else I must edit, or if it is even possible, to replace the GTOs with these cars meant to replace the Heat 1/2 cars. Any help would be greatly appreciated. smile.png

It's impossible since the cars you speak of I made were meant for those models to you have to convert the model to replace those said models.

@V8Warrior No, it's possible. You meant you want replace Unmarked GTO with Unmarked Corvette for example? If so, yes. I can help you, but I need to know, if you're using mod loader or no.

Kind of. I am using the mod loader. What I am trying to do is replace the Heat 3 and 4 cars (GTO and Unmarked GTO) with addon cars by CVPI19 that were originally made to replace the Heat 1 and 2 cars.

The cars I am trying to use are http://nfspolicehq.com/index.php?ind=downl..._view&iden=1552 for the GTO, and http://nfspolicehq.com/index.php?ind=downl..._view&iden=1551 for the Unmarked GTO.

I designed those Caprices to replace the Heat 1 & 2 cars as I said you have to convert the models first, then use the mod tools to make it work with the proper internal file names.

Oh, I understand what you want. I can help you how to use those cops for level heat 3 and 4. You need NFS VltEd v2.1 . You must use older version, because newer versions not only won't support mod loader, but damages the game.

If you want to see cops of level heat 1 and 2 in "3 and 4, go to pursuitlevels/default/heat_0(1 and 2)/cops/[1]. Now copy values from 1 to 4 of heat_01 for heat_03. Same for the second one: Values (from 1 to 4) of heat_02 for heat_04. wink.png
