Hello - I am looking for help in editing three existing cars that are on the site. I will not be publishing them, strictly for my own use. The three cars are found in the North Carolina HP section and they are the 93 Mustang, 01 Camaro and 03 Durango. I am looking for information on striping the labels, stripes, symbols, etc., off of these three cars and leavening them black with the existing emergency light package. I would also like to change the color on them. I have played NFS HS for years, but I have never attempted to edit any cars before. Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks! |

You're starting out the way I think we all did, before I started releasing my edits I did the same, Then years later I decided to share them, For NFS HighStakes editing you need:
ZModeler 1.07B,NFS Wizard,FCE Center,FCE Finish2,CarCad, and a photo editor to edit the TGAs. What agencies are you converting the cars to? -------------------- I'm 10-80..All units 10-0!
Enjoying this car very much :D |

In the whole time I've been modding, I've never used CarCad, but I've used all the other tools. I use Paint.NET to edit TGA files. I've also started using GIMP, but it's harder to learn.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate the response.
As far as the departments I was hoping to convert them to, I was really just going to leave them as unmarked cars, but I am hoping to paint at least the mustang and camaro to blue. There is an older MSP Blue Unmarked Mustang (Grunt?) that I have, but I like the light package on the NC HP Camaro better. |
