Everyone here's a thread for my projects for games that use high detailed models. The first is a remake of Dodge Boy's 87-90 Caprice 9C1 which the original was lost & was in CHP form. Credits to Dodge Boy for the original mesh his California Highway Patrol 1990 Chevrolet Caprice Slicktop, & to NFS Police Force for sending me the car. It took me 4 days to do & here's some of the things I have done to the car. I might go back & remake the 1986 model as well maybe even the 1978-1985 Impala 9C1 range as well.

Here's the front bumper for what will eventally become my Australian Holden WM Caprice V Series II & Middle Eastern Chevrolet Caprice SS for both Hot Pursuit 2 & Most Wanted (2005). Credits go to Nils for his HD Caprice as the base for this project. The Most Wanted versions will have bodykits mostly inspired by Holden & HSV cars & not those fictional kits that the cars in Most Wanted had by default.

Everyone here's an update on the HP2 Holden WM Caprice V Series II. Mesh grille, Holden Lions but I will make the one on the trunk larger, Series II, Caprice V & AFM badges, turn incinerators on the sides of the car with lines added just for the civilian releases. The Caprice SS variant all that's left is its V8 badge & HSV Grange style spolier.

Are the vertical lines above the lower grille intentional or erroneous normals?

Those lines you speak of Nils are actually part of the license plate holder for the front bumper. I won't be able to do anymore work on the cars for a week because I will be away on vacation.

I was actually talking about the vertical lines. Which are to the left resp. right of the parking sensors at the upper corners of the lower grille.

Oh those its suppose to be that way the real Holden WM & WN Caprice has those indents in the bumpers near the parking sensors & chrome same thing with the Caprice SS. As you see here Nils like in this pic those lines are suppose to be like this here.

Here's the latest update on the Caprice V/SS I finished its interior, & when choosing colors in the game they will include the option with the sunroof opened or closed made possible as named as cop parts even though these are not cop cars with the sunroof glass being named as the lightbar glass while the sunroof ceiling piece being named as the lightbar. These are done via the vehicle.ini & the option of cop addons which would be reserved for the cop cars by default. I modified the front & rear seats to have the pattern of the real car, plus I also modified the headrests to have the LCD screens which will be more detailed for the Most Wanted version. I also had to redo the interior to get rid of the VE Commodore Omega Series II/Lumina LS/Caprice LS/Caprice PPV 9C3 style interior elements bring it closer the WM Caprice/Caprice V/Caprice SS style interior. I have my friends John who runs WM Holden Caprice Forum page on Facebook as well as owns a real WM Caprice Series I & Matt who runs the Pontiac GTO, Pontiac G8, Chevy Caprice PPV and Vauxhall VXR8 are Australian page & the Chevy Caprice PPV - Owners & Fans group also on Facebook who I thank so far for help with pics of the front end for the WM Caprice, as well as input & feedback on helping me to get the shape of the front bumper correct. Both men are Australian & have very good knowledge of the Caprice PPV's Australian, & other global counterparts as well as other Holden models too.

Here it is Nils sorry if I couldn't show you asap but I had to do a little research on how the Caprice's sunroof opened & closed my pal John who runs WM Holden Caprice Forum on facebook told me how it works 2 modes vented & sliding which is what I have displayed. As you see in John's video linked below how the roof opens in his road test of his 2007 Holden WM Caprice Series I model. I will end up updating the High Stakes versions in the future with that feature & they will use the interiors from the HD Caprices as dashes but modified to be right of course. I also added one more touch to the interior for the stick shift itself on the console since the civilian Holden Caprices, the Middle Eastern Caprice LTZ, Royale, SS, as well as other Caprice variants expect for the PPV & LS, and the VE Commodore Calais & V has since this is a luxury car that the Caprice PPV was developed from.

Here are some updates like to the Caprice V's LCD headrests now have controls & lines on them which was a detail that I didn't pay attention to until I seen my pal John's Holden Caprice video. Also here's the NFS Edition of the Caprice V & the same skin will be on the SS as well as the Caprice LS which I have began work on. The Caprice V & SS are just about finished but all that's left are the rims, & then the cars will be ready for the game. BTW the NFS Edition Caprices their scheme is the logo & 2 shades of blue that the theme of this site uses for the body & the lines.
