I got AutoDesk 3DS Max 2010 a while back I thought it would be a BIG help with some of those free models since some is this format,Well yes and no.
See it does open .3DS as it should BUT there seems to be NO conversion option to export the models to other formats. Anyone know if this thing has a button for EXPORT choose format: like ZModeler 1 and 2 has? I can't find the damn thing if there is one. -------------------- I'm 10-80..All units 10-0!

Nils I got lucky on this..Chris just so happened to hop on FaceBook later after I made this, He has this thing too and showed me how to, You click the thing that looks like a @ in that green box. This has the drop down menu to choose export as methods. . Unfortunatly it seems most free 3DS models is way too high poly, One though is hopeful..Had ridiculously high wheels though (around 3000 per wheel) Body is low though, The Isetta though..Most likely way too high..Crashed both ZModelers..So even though it converts fine it just won't open in either ZModeler without crashing them. -------------------- I'm 10-80..All units 10-0!
