Hello! Don't mind yourself that you are poor or rich! Just say what car (s) do you wish to have? You can say any cars (Sport, Performance, Super, Exotic, Hyper, Luxury, SUV and etc.) with your favorite color and your favorite performance data.

I wish I have a Nissan 350Z or Toyota Supra with green color, since my favorite color is green.

Well, what about you? smile.png

Where I work we make the rockers (the thing that sits directly under doors along the side) for the 2017 Nissan Nismo, My dept. attempts to save them if they have defects in them.

I think the car I'd love to have is a Mercedes or BMW but not a very new as the new styles don't look good, They always ruin the classic looks and try to make them look futuristic. Color ofcourse would be green as it is my favorite. biggrin.png

I'm lucky enough to own one of my dream cars, my Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.6 biggrin.png. It is dark blue with lighter blue trim and a blue interior. Good thing blue is my favourite colour laugh.png.

The 2.6 was the largest engine available in the standard model. It's an in-line 6-cylinder with 160 hp and 220 Nm (when it was new). Unfortunately, it only has a 4-speed auto and it doesn't like going fast; but it has selectable 3rd and 2nd, so I figured out how to drive it like a manual when I need it biggrin.png. I also manage to get 10 L per 100 km out of it (23.5 US MPG), which is lower than the factory-claimed combined figure happy.png. I think that's because most of the driving in my area is open-road.

I'm quite focussed on safety now, and the 190 E was the safest car in its class for its entire production run; even though airbags weren't standard (and mine doesn't have them).

My dream Mercedes would be a W124 E-Class or a W126 S-Class (one of the safest cars on earth); but if I lived in Canada, my dream car would be a 2012-ish Dodge Charger, preferably an All-Wheel-Drive standard model without the rear spoiler. The ideal colour would be grey, and I'm fine with a V6. I don't have boring tastes, I assure you. Mercedes-Benz is my favourite marque, especially when AMG or Brabus are involved (hence my e-mail address).

I recently found out that the Dodge Charger is not very reliable sad.png, so I think I'll move it to my "Dream Rental Car" list. That way, I won't have it long enough for it to break down on me laugh.png.

Another vehicle I would like is a Ford Excursion:

It's obviously not fast, but it is powerful. The 6.0L Powerstroke V8 (the best engine for it) had 325 hp and 760 Nm of torque; giving it a 4.5-ton towing capacity! You can increase the engine's power by 30% or more by installing a cold air intake. The top speed is limited to 160 km/h; but honestly, when am I ever going to travel that fast? To me, top speeds are far less important than acceleration times.

I have actually seen one of these biggrin.png, on a road where you'd least expect to see one: a narrow, winding road near Queenstown. From what I can remember, it was dark green.

Ford Excursions are quite expensive, though, because they are highly sought after. Expect to pay $10,000 or more. Realistically, I'm more likely to get a 2nd-Generation Ford Expedition, which would cost at least half that price.

I'd get one with the 5.4L V8 cool.png. 260 hp, 475 Nm and 8 seats. Eddie Bauer models had electric motors in the third-row seats to fold them for you.

$10,000 for Ford Excursion? Not bad. smile.png
SUV cars are more expensive than other cars, usually, but it is a good choice. wink.png

It's a good price for what it is; but a really good one can cost $20,000. I would buy one without cosmetic modifications, because I generally prefer a car's stock look.

I would only buy an SUV if I needed to tow something (like a caravan) and/or go off-road regularly. Otherwise, a Ford Flex would be fine. Or another Mercedes, of course cool.png.

I'm hoping to make an Excursion and an Expedition for High Stakes one day; hopefully in the not-too-distant future.

I have a good news and a bad news:

The good news is Gamemodels has Ford Expedition model. It is from Ford Racing: Off Road. You can download it here, but you need to be registered there to getting it.

The bad news is only Turbosquid and hum3d sites have Ford Excursion model and you need to buy it.

Do High Stakes police cars parts can be damaged (and cutting doors and hood off), like Most Wanted or Carbon?

No, but you can move the body's vertices around to make it look 'crumpled'. You have to make the damage model when you make the car. I'm not great at it, so I don't put damage on some of my models.

@ Chris: that HP2 SUV is an Explorer; I've downloaded that from Game Models too. I'll hopefully make a base from the lower LODs.

Here's an interesting piece of trivia: the first car I ever drove was a white Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer.

So It's optional to put damage parts for the model.
