Ok guys, i take this Ford Explorer from nfs: Rivals traffic (Gamemodels.ru) and i will trying reduce his polycount number and making it a ford police interceptor utility for Nfs: HS I would love to know if I could count on the help of all of you to finalize this suv! https://imageshack.com/i/g9a1uej https://imageshack.com/i/15fmfxj |
Posted by: CVPI19 Jan 17 2014, 09:26 AM
I'm doing my own version using the lowest detailed model from NFS MW 2012 since this model is the same one from MW 2012 the high detailed body I mean. But it will come later on in the future since I'm still doing the Holden VE Commodore based vehicles like the Pontiac G8s, etc. |
Posted by: NFS Police Force Jan 17 2014, 10:35 AM |
Cool save me time .I was going to do that . |
Posted by: Police 911 Jan 23 2014, 05:06 PM |
Ok guys, i am still working very hard to reduce the polycount number and put this Ford Police Interceptor Utility on nfs: hs: I'm almost done with the body and then, i will reduce the windows and headlights Polycounts so far: 2440 |
Posted by: XJ220 Jan 27 2014, 06:54 AM |
Looks good so far, efficient reduction! |
Posted by: Police 911 Feb 1 2014, 05:21 PM |
Ok guys, I'm almost finished building our base. All parts are in their proper places, now I just need to do some adjustments and our suv is ready to chase! Interior: |
Posted by: Police 911 Feb 1 2014, 05:46 PM
Thanks Nils, I had a big of work to reduce this suv, i cut many things to achieve this result! |
Posted by: Police 911 Feb 2 2014, 07:10 AM |
Ok guys, the suv is done! I will only putting the :ODL files and finish him |
Posted by: NFS Police Force Feb 2 2014, 10:06 AM |
Sweet not bad buddy . |

Yup, looks good |
Posted by: Police 911 Apr 7 2014, 07:48 AM |
Finishing the 2013 ford explorer: |
Posted by: XJ220 Apr 8 2014, 01:49 AM |
How much space do you have left on the texture? In my opinion both the rims and the Ford logos could use a nicer texture. Otherwise it looks good, except for being a current-gen Explorer By the way, what program do you use for saving screenshots? These images are highly compressed which makes it harder to judge your work. If the program you use supports it, I'd set the image quality to somewhere between 80 and 90 %. |
Posted by: Police 911 Apr 8 2014, 02:47 PM
The program I use is this: http://foxarc-screen-capture.software.informer.com/1.4/ Regarding the Ford logo and rims, i have a good space in the texture, i will try to give a better finish to them |
Posted by: XJ220 Apr 9 2014, 02:08 AM
Cool
Never heard of that program. But by the looks of it, it could really support setting the quality manually. Or perhaps Photobucket altered the images on upload as auto-scaling is the default setting there (pretty annoying IMO). |
Posted by: NFS Police Force Apr 9 2014, 05:18 PM |
Wow good job buddy |
Posted by: Police 911 Apr 15 2014, 03:54 PM |
Ok guys, I edited the wheels and ford logo, what do you think? |
Posted by: NFS Police Force Apr 15 2014, 04:19 PM |
Look good to me |
Posted by: XJ220 Apr 16 2014, 03:41 AM |
I agree, esp. the Ford logos are a big step forward |
Posted by: Police 911 May 1 2014, 07:53 AM |
Ok guys. the 2013 ford explorer xlt is almost ready! I would like to add colors in the car, someone could teach me? The luggage compartment can be removed. |
Posted by: XJ220 May 1 2014, 07:59 AM |
Looks good even in white! I think Louis will be able to teach you how to add colors using GIMP. I only know how to do so in old Paint Shop Pro. Anyway, one thing I'd like to add: the vidwall is stretched. Use something like 'maintain aspect-ratio' when resizing images for vidwalls, they will look much better and natural that way. You do not watch an old 4:3 movie in widescreen format, do you? |
Posted by: Police 911 May 1 2014, 05:04 PM
Ok, I will look for another ideal to vidwall picture. |
Posted by: XJ220 May 2 2014, 05:51 AM |
I don't think you need a different picture. Use the one you have, but when you resize it, make sure that both width and height get resized by the same ratio. E.g. you cut the width in half, then the height needs to be divided by two, as well. Sorry for the stupid example |
Posted by: Police 911 May 2 2014, 08:39 AM
No problem, my good friend. |
Posted by: Police 911 Jun 1 2014, 04:26 PM |
Hey guys, this here is the 2013 Ford Police Interceptor Sedan base for nfs: hs The :HB has 4710 polycount with the door handles, pipes, glass, antenna and the front grill! Is ready! |
Posted by: NFS Police Force Jun 1 2014, 04:54 PM |
Sweet Dude . Keep up the Great Work . |
Posted by: Police 911 Jun 10 2014, 06:15 PM |
The interior and lights is done but, i need work more the texture of interior |
Posted by: NFS Police Force Jun 10 2014, 07:32 PM |
Sweet Work |
Posted by: XJ220 Jun 11 2014, 03:12 AM |
Looking really good |
Posted by: CVPI19 Jun 11 2014, 02:05 PM |
To make the car lower in polies I would get rid of the 3D mesh grille & make it textured, plus if I were you I would also clean up the normals on the mesh since I have seen some of your bases in the past with this issue. |
Posted by: Police 911 Jun 11 2014, 05:00 PM
I had lowered the front grille when added to the body. He had around 390 polycounts, then stood with 140 total polycounts. Actually, I had thought of doing an textured grille but, I wanted to leave the car with a more realistic look so I left her in 3d. |
Posted by: CVPI19 Jun 12 2014, 04:16 PM
If you want to do a traffic version might as well do that and don't forget to clean up the normals on the car too. Also if you need help with alpha channel editing I will be glad to help you with that. |
Posted by: Police 911 Jun 24 2014, 06:13 PM
sorry me for my delayed reply to your post Louis sometimes i get distracted with the games of the World Cup here in Brazil At the moment, I do not intend to make this car for traffic, but if I want make the traffic version, i talk with you! |
Posted by: Police 911 Jun 24 2014, 06:18 PM |
Ok guys, I'm almost finished our car as all can see. I will use low poly wheels to keep the car more acceptable to nfs hs! |
Posted by: XJ220 Jun 26 2014, 05:26 AM |
The trunklid seems to have 'damaged' normals at the top center. Other than that, the car looks pretty good What's the total polycount? You might also consider using another program for saving as JPEG or increasing the quality setting – the low quality of these shots makes it harder to appreciate your work |
Posted by: Police 911 Jun 26 2014, 04:36 PM
The program I was using is the fce finish, because the textures were not showing up on my 3d view on ZModeler I'll see if I can figure out what's going on! The total polycounts is 6690! Perhaps, can be the final number. |
Posted by: XJ220 Jun 27 2014, 06:01 AM |
Textures not showing up? Perhaps they're deactivated? In ZMod, go to the top left corner of the 3D view and click the icon there right next to "3D". Navigate down to Settings, from there to Textures and make sure that Use textures is checked. And which program are you using to take screenshots? |
Posted by: Police 911 Jun 29 2014, 05:58 PM
The program I use is this: http://foxarc-screen-capture.software.informer.com/1.4/ |
Posted by: XJ220 Jun 30 2014, 05:45 AM |
Does it have any quality or compression settings? Alternatively, you could try saving in PNG instead of JPEG. |

Hi guys, this is my newest work of conversion the 2009 Nissan Altima Hybrid This car was ripped by me, from the nissan pack dlc, that was released to Forza Motorsport 2, from my Xbox 360! Here are some pictures: |
Posted by: NFS Police Force Sep 17 2014, 09:17 PM |
Sweet it good it see you are back in action |
Posted by: Paul Spain Sep 17 2014, 10:29 PM |
This will be good for Japanese police . |
Posted by: Police 911 Sep 24 2014, 06:30 PM |
Ok guys, here's the work so far: Interior view Still missing do some adjustments on it. |
Posted by: XJ220 Sep 25 2014, 07:27 AM |
While I think that the car itself is rather ugly, your conversion looks pretty nice thus far |
Posted by: Police 911 Oct 1 2014, 01:16 PM |
Hey guys, the 2009 Nissan Altima is done! The final polycount is 7513 I only could not put the "hybrid" badge, because of space on CAR00.TGA The car ready to duty: |
Posted by: NFS Police Force Oct 1 2014, 01:26 PM |
Sweet man |
Posted by: Police 911 Oct 22 2014, 03:09 PM |
My latest work guy: 2005 Chevrolet Express Cargo, from my Xbox 360 Forza Motorsport Horizon game. I using the the Forza Studio to take the model. 5229 polycounts. |
Posted by: XJ220 Oct 23 2014, 06:05 AM |
Not quite an average Pursuit vehicle ^^ Model looks very nice & clean to me! |
Posted by: Paul Spain Oct 23 2014, 06:26 AM |
Hmmn..Looks low poly too . Not too many police vans around here except for I.D.O.C. vehicles and the state police which use them as mobile traffic control and S.W.A.T. vehicles. |
Posted by: Police 911 Oct 23 2014, 11:26 AM
I did not reduce the number of polycounts, the LOD was I got was already low. |
Posted by: Police 911 Feb 1 2015, 04:21 PM |
Ok guys, I know I'm a little lazy bit lately, but now I decided to remove all rust and cobwebs that were on me! I'm back to duty And to begin with, I present to you guys, the 2015 CHP Ford Police Interceptor Sedan: I have to do quite this patrol. I will post more photos soon! |
Posted by: NFS Police Force Feb 1 2015, 08:20 PM |
Cool. |
Posted by: XJ220 Feb 2 2015, 06:00 AM |
Yeah, looks sweet! Too bad CHP doesn't get these in real-life. At least SF and LA do. |
Posted by: Police 911 Feb 3 2015, 06:07 PM |
Passing just to show some progress that I made on patrol: I put the spotlight, license plates, pushbar and i installed lights in the side mirrors. |
Posted by: Police 911 Feb 5 2015, 04:36 PM |
Ok guys, the 2015 Ford P.I. is done and ready to duty! By building this car, gave me a longing of my CHP cars I built when I was learning to edit nfs: hs cars! I'll change my fleet of generic cars to CHP cars, to kill the nostalgia! |
Posted by: NFS Police Force Feb 5 2015, 05:26 PM |
I will post the cars when we get the download system working agin. |
Posted by: Dark One Feb 5 2015, 10:51 PM |
Looks great. But weren't these supposed to join the force at least as staff cars? Or even command prefered to move their asses around in Explorers? |
Posted by: XJ220 Feb 6 2015, 06:03 AM |
At least neither Google nor Flickr found me any CHP TPIs. Just SFPD and LAPD (in CA). @ Code 4: Sweet ride, good job! |

HS 2013 NYPD Chevrolet Caprice PPV W.I.P I used the Federal Signal SLR Lightbar made by Nils |
Posted by: CVPI19 Mar 16 2015, 07:58 PM
Just to let you know that the NYPD doesn't really use this car and please delete the flex fuel nameplate too. The NYPD has PI Sedans in real life just like the Philadelphia Police Department who doesn't use the Caprice PPV either. Edit: Please don't quote images. |
Posted by: NFS Police Force Mar 16 2015, 09:49 PM |
Who cares it a cop car .Sweet .Your cars are rocking |
Posted by: XJ220 Mar 17 2015, 12:33 AM
Exactly my thoughts! Just... the POLICE lettering above the front wheels could use some work on its mapping to appear less stretched. Other than this looks like another sweet cruiser |
Posted by: CVPI19 Mar 17 2015, 02:23 PM
I do for accuracy reasons and I do want to get around to recreating the 2011 NYPD Caprices from Castle & the Touch one day maybe even Kate Beckett's Ford Crown Victoria from eariler seasons & her Dodge Charger along with Ryan & Epistio's Charger also from Castle too. |
Posted by: CVPI19 Mar 17 2015, 06:14 PM |
Speaking of the NYPD Caprice on tv here's what it looks like on Castle. http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_660228-Chevrolet-Caprice-PPV-2011.html |
Posted by: Police 911 Mar 17 2015, 06:29 PM |
I made adjustments to the word "POLICE" above the front wheel |
Posted by: Police 911 Mar 18 2015, 07:38 PM |
OK guys, the 2013 NPYD Caprice PPV is ready to duty! I put a nypd pushbar and a prisoner cage inside: |
Posted by: XJ220 Mar 20 2015, 03:29 AM |
Well Louis, I think Police 911's cruiser is closer to what actual NYPD Caprices would look like if they existed I like it |
Posted by: Police 911 Apr 25 2015, 10:06 AM |
(HS) 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit w.i.p. Polycount: 4215 I still have much work to do before to put him in the line of duty |
Posted by: XJ220 Apr 26 2015, 12:23 AM |
Interesting. The front fenders and windows look a bit rough, though. |
Posted by: Police 911 Apr 30 2015, 05:24 PM |
Here is an update of 15`dodge charger, what you guys think him? |
Posted by: XJ220 May 1 2015, 01:00 AM |
Not bad as far as I can tell |
Posted by: Police 911 May 1 2015, 01:22 PM |

Posted by: XJ220 May 3 2015, 07:00 AM |
Are those the final normals? There are some areas that should be smooth, like on the hood |
Posted by: NFS Police Force May 3 2015, 09:31 AM |
XJ220 maybe you could fix that you are the pro at that . Also you are welcome to use my gear from my http://nfspolicehq.com/index.php?ind=downloads&op=entry_view&iden=920 . Thy would look sweet on there . |
Posted by: Police 911 May 3 2015, 10:50 AM

I realized the necessary adjustments in the car |
Posted by: NFS Police Force May 6 2015, 09:39 AM |
Wow great job . |
Posted by: XJ220 May 7 2015, 07:55 AM |
Yes, a whole lot better! The trunk-lid and rear bumper could use a similar treatment, though. Yeah, I am a pain in the butt |
Posted by: NFS Police Force May 7 2015, 09:46 AM |
Yes you are But thy look better after . |
Posted by: Police 911 May 9 2015, 06:40 PM |
We 2015 Dodge Charger near to finish! I put the lightbar |
Posted by: XJ220 May 10 2015, 01:07 AM |
Nice! Something I just noticed - did you perhaps mix up the side markers' colors? The one to the front should be orange/amber and the rear one red if I am not mistaken. |
Posted by: NFS Police Force May 10 2015, 10:09 AM |
Looks Great |
Posted by: Police 911 May 10 2015, 11:06 AM
That is the :ODL lights when turn on. |

Thank you Man! |
Posted by: XJ220 May 11 2015, 10:20 AM |

Posted by: Police 911 May 12 2015, 07:18 PM |
The car is done! |
Posted by: Police 911 May 21 2015, 07:06 PM |
2008 NYPD Chevrolet Impala, my next car to NFS POLICE HQ |
Posted by: XJ220 May 22 2015, 08:23 AM |
Lookin' good... but I doubt they're using the wood trim dashboard? |
Posted by: CVPI19 May 22 2015, 09:31 AM |
Yeah Nils is right unless its a 2006 Impala which was the only 9C1 & 9C3 in the 9th generation to have a wood grain trim. |
Posted by: NFS Police Force May 22 2015, 01:27 PM |
Looks Great |
Posted by: Police 911 Oct 15 2015, 03:51 PM |
this is a 1983 ford crown victoria from Rockport Police Department with an old paint scheme i made. This is the first car to the fleet, I intend to do for the RPD |
Posted by: XJ220 Oct 16 2015, 06:48 AM |
Ouh that's pretty cool But also pretty blurry. You sure you can't increase the resolution of... say, the RPD lettering on the trunk lid? |
Posted by: Police 911 Oct 16 2015, 07:49 AM
I'll make the necessary adjustments |
Posted by: NFS Police Force Oct 16 2015, 09:28 AM |
Sweet . Great Work. You my have the RPD to small in your tga . |
Posted by: Police 911 Oct 17 2015, 06:19 AM |
I make the necessary adjustments on the trunk: |
Posted by: NFS Police Force Oct 17 2015, 10:07 AM |
You could have still used the older font . Just fix the blurrys. But that look Great to . It up to you man . |
Posted by: XJ220 Oct 18 2015, 02:23 AM |
Looks better, but like Chris said, it clashes with the rest of your design. I think there should be enough space for decent resolution all over the car, the scheme is rather simple (and effective!) in that regard |
Posted by: CVPI19 Oct 27 2015, 11:24 PM
Nice but if you plan to do the Caprice PPV I'm doing already since I will also be doing it for Most Wanted too. I will also do the Tahoe you can do the PI Sedan and Utility if you want. |
Posted by: Paul Spain Nov 1 2015, 01:53 PM |
Great. Small to medium police badge decals was common in the 1980's so it looks ok but the text is kind of blurry..Once Nils gets settled in he can give it his "lines" treatment and that will give you alot of room for decal improovement. . |
Posted by: NFS Police Force Nov 1 2015, 02:03 PM |
If your having problem with that send it my way . I can fix that . |
Posted by: Police 911 Nov 2 2015, 04:52 AM |
I realized some adjustments |
Posted by: XJ220 Nov 19 2015, 09:00 AM |
Much better, it seems |
Posted by: Police 911 Dec 1 2015, 05:28 PM |
Ok guys, the car is ready to go to Rockport streets! |
Posted by: NFS Police Force Dec 1 2015, 07:48 PM |
Sweet |
Posted by: Police 911 Feb 15 2016, 05:20 PM |
Hi guys, I would like to present to you guys, the 1992 Rockport Sheriff Office Chevrolet Caprice. I tried to build a similar paint scheme to that used by police cars seen in NFS: MW 2005 but, with a different color! |
Posted by: CVPI19 Feb 15 2016, 09:07 PM
Glad to see that my 9C1's based on Nils' original 96 Caprice are being used & do you plan to make a wagon version too or no? One more thing a part of the a pillar is not correctly mapped to match the rest of the car's roof be sure to fix that if you can. |
Posted by: BrabusAMG Feb 16 2016, 02:05 AM |
Some great-looking cars there! I'm sure a few US Sheriff's Offices use that colour, so it doesn't matter. I'm not sure I like green, but I don't like black and white too much, either About the LTD Crown Victoria: Whose base is that? I've seen it used for several vehicles here. |
Posted by: CVPI19 Feb 16 2016, 04:53 PM
That was Dodge Boy's Max one day maybe I will get around to updating it like I did with the 3rd & 4th generation Caprices. |
Posted by: BrabusAMG Feb 16 2016, 06:39 PM |
Sounds good When you do, I would love to use it for a couple of cars. |
Posted by: XJ220 Feb 17 2016, 09:13 AM |
@ Police 911: Nice to see something new over here If I were you, I'd remove the door molding on the front door and place the decal on the whole door. It's rather squeezed in as of now. |
Posted by: Police 911 Feb 17 2016, 05:11 PM
I have an done. |
Posted by: Police 911 Feb 17 2016, 05:14 PM
I make the adjustments on door decal |
Posted by: Police 911 Feb 17 2016, 05:22 PM |
I removed the door molding |
Posted by: NFS Police Force Feb 18 2016, 12:20 AM |
Where is the last one from ? |
Posted by: BrabusAMG Feb 18 2016, 01:46 AM |
Rockport Sheriffs Office, as mentioned on the previous page . The colour has obviously been changed. Is that real or fictional? I don't know, because I've never played MW. @ Police 911: It's good to see the wagon being used. I plan on using it for one of my cars in the future. |
Posted by: XJ220 Feb 18 2016, 08:08 AM
Cool! Now, it needs to be much narrower. The Caprice's texture should give you enough room for a relatively clear texture (like on the wagon, which looks very cool, by the way!). Something happened to the door handles, too? They should be surrounded by a black frame. |
Posted by: NFS Police Force Feb 18 2016, 11:10 AM |
I maybe able to get you a better embelm that you can read , Let me see what I can do . |
Posted by: Police 911 Feb 18 2016, 03:49 PM
I painted the door handles according to the color of the front door. @ BrabusAMG: Thank you buddy! |
Posted by: Police 911 Feb 18 2016, 03:58 PM
@ NFS Police Force: The Rockport Sheriff's Office is an fictional department i created. They not exist on the original game. |
Posted by: NFS Police Force Feb 18 2016, 07:56 PM |
O ok just try to make the emblem look better . |
Posted by: CVPI19 Feb 26 2016, 12:15 AM |
Part of the chrome on the bottom is mapped to the green can you fix that please? |
Posted by: Paul Spain Feb 26 2016, 05:46 AM
There is also the 1980's-1990 GranMarquis version somewhere I hope, Reason I know there was one was I saw it in a pic on NFS Addons a long time ago, As of yet though that car hasn't shown up on a download nowhere just yet. |

Did you base it off of Sandiego County S.O.? they used a simular green/white scheme back in the 1980's-1990's with green stars on the front doors except they left the trunks white cause they had a big green star on them.. Saw a few when I visited my sis in Cali way back in 1992 or 1993 (not sure which year it was) She was living in Chulavista then which is close to Sandiego. |

Nice! The door seal should be gold-black, though, the full color version was introduced in... um. Later. Much later. After 1996. |

Hi guys, i made some adjusts on car, and i changed the emblem of the door, as Nils had advised me to do. and I made some improvements on the lightbar: front view: back view: |

Nice. Just remember, the middle red light (directly in front of the orange flasher) is steady-burning, not flashing (California regulations). It's possible to do that on HS. I learnt that from someone who made a CHP Caprice from my MN Cruiser. Set the dummy's time/duration and delay to 0; for example: SRYE200. |

The 1976 CHP Dodge Coronet is almost ready. I worked the textures on the light bar and performed some adjustments in it. Soon it will be ready for service. |

Hello guys, I'm back, after a while without making car editions, I got a little time available to make my cars again! And for starters, I'm working on this 1987 chevrolet caprice seen in nfs 3 hot pursuit for psx.I intend to make it a car for traffic to replace the sedan of the Homentown track. |

Hey, it was my first request once I registered back on the Police Garage. I still remember how I argued with 'SoonToBeOPP' about how the paint scheme and the lightbar should look like to be accurate. Then I used my mad MS Paint skills, and schooled the staff member how it's done. He still released it the way it was. So good luck with the car, and I promise I'll try to be nice. |

But it looks like you need to thicken the tops on the gumball lights, they look too thin unless you're using the clear ones with colored rotators. |

The coloured lenses I made for it are see-through in-game, but unfortunately not in Zmod. Look at the StreetHawk on my New Mexico SP Caprice; it uses the same technique . I posted an instructional photo on how to use that technique. |

My proposal was to make this car with a hd lightbar. So I used the transparent lenses, but with a reddish tint |

Nice Job Guys |

Here's a picture of a car with the HD technique: The lenses appear solid in Zmod, but they are transparent in-game as you can see . I've found that this technique works very well for HD lightbars, because it saves copying transparent layers and using more polies for the same result. |
