I mainly listen to alternative rock, pop rock, etc...mostly stuff from the late 90's and early 2000's.

Every once in a while I like to have a playlist of chillstep to ease my mind, or the "epic" orchestral stuff

Electronic (old-style; not the new techno stuff)

80s synthpop (when it's on the radio)

One of these days I'll get myself a vintage (or just retro-style) synthesiser. I like some classical stuff too.

Wow, seems like we've got the full spectrum in musical tastes assembled smile.png

How important is music to you? I personally could hardly live without it. Almost first thing I purchased for my car was an AM/FM radio, first thing in the morning is to put some music on and most of my t-shirts are merch of a band I like. I went to three concerts this year already and among the stuff I buy without really needing it (as opposed to e.g. food), music related things likely hold the first place by a fair margin.

Music can make almost anything more enjoyable for me from sports, gaming or just hanging out with friends. if you ever play a realy fast pace game like battleifeld 3 CQ expansion.. or call of (Starts to dry heave) duty... or just some crazy need for speed pursuit.

I always have the music off when playing racing games, but it's nice to have music on a long road trip.

Interestingly, the radio stations serving Wanaka, Cromwell and Queenstown play a lot of 80s music.

I play euro truck simulator 2 and the live radio stations (from the internet) are always great to listen to and request songs from my favorite is truckers FM and if you listen to it you can catch some of my song requests on there.

I was told by someone a long time ago that unlike U.S...Germany don't seperate music by genre and just plays everything on stations..Might have a country song then followed by rap, pop, etc.

Yeah. Right. rolleyes.gif

Actually, no. For example, there's Radio BOB! with different sub-stations for alternative rock, hard rock etc. etc. so yes, we do. Separation is a German speciality, after all.
