Editing is possible using the "Edit" button in the top right corner of posts.

Just reply to this thread with new pics. And the game (HS or HP2).

the game is High Stakes

I cant get to many good photos from the back because they are sticky about
taking photos of the cars but I managed to track down some when these were just put into service.

Everybody has to start somewhere, no use in excusing for being 'a newb' wink.png

One piece of info that may be helpful - how is the POLICE lettering tilted on the other side of the car?

First of all, I have to say that I love that car!

I had a feeling that Kentville was in NS even before I saw the plate (I read atlases for fun laugh.png ). By the way, it's officially spelled Licence Plate in Canada, isn't it? Just like in New Zealand.

Unfortunately, I think I'm a bit too inexperienced to make this car, although I'd like to have a go. We have a 2011 - 2015 Charger base, but I'm not sure about that lightbar. One might have to be made from scratch (which shouldn't be too hard).

Also, the flags are the other way round on the cars; the NS flag is on the left while the Canadian flag is on the right, the opposite to the uniform flags.

I'm not sure why the officers wouldn't like pictures of their cars taken. It seems unusual, but I guess I'm used to the Kiwi way, where an officer might even turn the lights on for you if you were keenly interested in the car or lightbar, especially if you're quite young (that happened to me twice)!

PS: The technical term for the "back yellow lights" is Directional Bar or D-Bar. There are other terms, but I think that's the most common. We don't have those in New Zealand.

that is awesome I have a friend from new Zealand and I always call him kiwi or kiwi boy and thanks for the info on the D-bar knowledge is always good to have. biggrin.png and yes the new chargers are nice.... however we only have 2 and we only got them because we lost to patrol cars in the winter and it was to expensive to repair them so we got these about 3 years ago now and dont look at all like the old crown Victoria's you could never tell they were from the same department. we also got a new PR unit (don't know the name of the car its not around much) and a ram 1500 PR unit. we also bought a mobile command unit (which we will never use and was only bought so we could brag about it and waste half that years budget) and now we wont buy any new units because we literally have no money in the budget to buy extra socks!

anyways Thanks!,
Sam

I just found out what the lightbar is biggrin.png: a D&R PL-46 Prowler, made by a Canadian Company; D&R Electronics. We really need to make one of these; because lots of Canadian police cars use this lightbar.

Also, about that "money" filter; the word "s-t-o-r-e" is also censored, but "shop" isn't.

I will start work on the lightbar shortly. The rest of the car will take a while, because the base might need some adjustments.

PS: Now that it has been more than a month; you may make another request. wink.png

Your new PR unit; is it a Honda CR-V?

I might attempt this car one day, but I'll need more experience in complex textures. I guess I could try the older cars first.
