Everyone myself & Tactical Unit Enforcer have been talking about making a be the cop mode mod now that anything is possible in the game. The plan is to make the cops playable in free roam & challenges that have to do with them instead of just pretending with hacked in cop cars into save files. Plus some of my cars will now be addons from now on which will also come into play with this proof of concept idea. Also improvements to pursuit mechanics such as the cops blowing their tires out when they run over spike belts like in the PS2 version of Hot Pursuit 2 I have talked to him about. Also the idea of making this mode compatible with Most Wanted Online too. The plan of this mode mod is to make it like the classic NFS gameplay with playing as the police.

Great idea and long over due. Does NFS Most Wanted have the same terrible steering issues that HotPursuit 2 on PC has has though? Or is the steering good like in HighStakes?

Paul the steering isn't terrible at all in Most Wanted but however controlling the AI cars is a nightmare as they weren't meant to be driven by the players however these will be fixed to be drivable this includes the undercover units, Cross' Corvette, the police helicopter, light suv, and lastly all traffic cars. -------------------- NFS Police HQ Staff

That's good to hear. If you've played NFS HighStakes on PC you know it had decent steering but HotPursuit 2 was AWFUL, Almost impossible to keep a car on the road let alone in a lane. I have saw several police chase vids made using that game and some of our mods, Good mods but the game has terrible steering, Good to hear this game (MostWanted) has handling on par with HighStakes. -------------------- I'm 10-80..All units 10-0!

I don't know about High Stakes and never played, but you can modify steering and performance of any cars in newer NFS games. Most Wanted is the best choice for you, if you ask me. -------------------- Best Regards, MNaeemi777 - NFS Police H.Q. Staff

Other changes include removing the unrealistic kamikaze tactics used by the cops on the ground and the helicopter as well. Making police chases more realistic when being chased by the cops. I’m also exploring the idea of adding hyper cars that are part of heat levels 8 & 9 like Lamborghini Muricelagos. As for new cop cars they are for either adding to existing heat levels or new ones.

Good idea and I hope I help you. Don't forget you must create them yourself with new x_names for adding them to the game. You will need to use NFS-LangEd and NFS-VltEd. Also, mod loader MUST BE DELETED, because it's incompatible with VLT editor. -------------------- Best Regards, MNaeemi777 - NFS Police H.Q. Staff

Oh no worries Masih the modloader isn't going to be used here since I remember you told me about how it damages your game, and my be the cop mode mod isn't compatible with it either. -------------------- NFS Police HQ Staff
