When importing the wheels, I also noticed that later versions of the '99 steel wheels had different caps, judging by reference pics. This means that there are 7 wheel variants for the CVPI.

Also, my OPP 1985 Ford LTD Crown Victoria is now ready! The poly count is 4675. Starting with this car, I have also set up a performance and engine sound format (which car uses what) which will be applied to all of my future cars, including remakes of my old ones.

I used the crown and "O.P.P." lettering from BoxCarRacer's Dodge Charger (I hope you don't mind; I just couldn't get anything else to work).

This is officially my first car for 2017! Now that this car is finished, I will start working on updating Nils's Whelen Edge, which I have been putting off for too long.

Part 1 of of the Whelen Edge series is complete! I have made 10 variants already; they will be uploaded shortly.

Further parts to this series will come sometime later. Next up, I will make two more cars for my Canadian series.

I think so too biggrin.png, and I have to thank XJ220 for that, since he did all the work; making it for his Ohio State Highway Patrol Cherokee. My edits were fairly minor.

I have now completed my next two Canadian cars: an 1993 Caprice and a 1994 CVPI, both from the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary. Unfortunately, the screenshots are low-quality due to issues with the Modern Patch.

Next up will be two more lightbar updates and then another Canadian car. You could say that the car will be a bit of a wild card, since it doesn't fit into the provincial/territorial series that I haven't finished yet wink.png.

Here's the next screenshot:

The first lightbar update is complete. I think I'll move the second project back a bit and work on the car first, since it will use this lightbar.

It's the D&R PL-46 Prowler that BoxCarRacer made from Nils's Code 3 X2100; but I have tweaked it for accuracy and split it into the 4 variants I discovered from photos.

The Prowler is quite commonly used in Canada, since it's a Canadian lightbar.

The "wild card" is now uploaded (more information in the Request Forum), so next up will be lightbar and car base updates.

I'd like to thank FranknFurter for taking these screenshots happy.png.

The first lightbar update is finished. I modified the MX7000 from BoxCarRacer's Sûreté du Québec CVPI. I gave it an all-light variant and several options.

Next will be the JetSonic/JetStream/JetStrobe.

I have delayed the JetSonic again, since I started work on a very old lightbar (more will be revealed later wink.png). I also optimised a few of my bases today, for personal use. I will also focus on cars a bit more, since I want to get my queue finished.

I have finished the next provincial police car now. It is also the first mod made with the 79 - 82 Ford LTDs that Louis made.

This car was quite challenging, because the only reference photo I could find was an old (but thankfully high-res) black-and-white photo of the car's left side! I did, however, know a site that could tell me what kind of number plate it would have had.

I present the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary 1980 Ford LTD-S:

happy.png Black&white pic you used eh? You think it might have had red only gumballs back then then?

This is the picture, from the Provincial Historic Commemorations Program:

I noticed that one light is lighter than the other, which tells me that it must have been a different colour. Red and blue look different on b/w photos too wink.png. Also, Calgary Police have used red and blue since the late 60s.

Yeah I'd say red/blue too judging from the pic, What's funny is RCMP had both red and red/blue gumballs on their cars way back, I saw one in my police cars book that has red ones only, It's a pitty all the pics in the book is black&white, I wish they did them in color..The cover has a color pic though of a 1976 Dodge Coronet CHP car.

Some provinces traditionally preferred red only (Manitoba and Ontario in particular), which is why RCMP cruisers in those provinces had all red. RCMP cars in ON still had all red in the mid-2000s.

I have noticed an issue with the car base. The LTD-S doesn't seem to have the chrome strip on the C-pillar in real life, but the 3D model does.
