happy.png Yes. I have but it has body issues that need hammered out first before release since the car I found was a 2 door. And it's VERY high poly since it was a GTA 4 car but none the less I hope to release it some day, I even mapped out Joe Friday and Bill Gannon (Bill's driving).

Take a look at this. A easier way for making LOD parts: http://forum.zmodeler3.com/viewtopic.php?t=7103

Read "Arranging multiple LOD meshes into a single LOD container" section. I know it's for ZModeler 3, but it looks so easy.

I'm just want to open models (from .z3d) and not for importing, but ... What do you mean by ripping?

Working on the car now, Although using the Veg Patch kills any limits NFS HighStakes has polywise unfortunatly high poly vehicles can still slow edit tools (ZModeler, etc.) Also since it had been a while since I first tried to make the car I forgot something, The 2 have diffrent grills so I'll have to edit the grill to make this Galaxie into a Fairlane, Also Fairlane had chrome strips on the side, The rest looks exactly the same bodywise.

Also here's pics of the original car I was using that was never released, It shows how the set up will be once done, It has a pop up red spotlight attached to the windshield mirror since on the show they hooked that light on the mirror when going Code3 to calls.

Finally the actual car showing the hudcaps I used for the idea, I think it's show accurate.

If this wasn't the hudcaps they used on the show I'm guessing it was those generic moon/dog dish seen on Dodge Diplomats/Plymouth GranFurys alot and I have something I can make those from too if need be. wink.png .

I will swap the grill on the Galaxie using the one from the previous failed attempt and then it should be ready to finish after I delete the GALAXIE plates from the back sides of the car.

Well after getting it basically ZModeler friendly (this was a 200000+ poly car ohmy.png ) I can see it's going to need some work to become the Dragnet car, grill and backend will need altered. I'm going to see if Brabus or someone else can help as I don't wanna mess it up trying and failing,I did try to use the front and back from the other car I was using but they didn't line up and work right, I have lowered it's poly count to 25783 which works fine for ZModeler 1 and don't slow it no more happy.png.
