Daimler AG has finally shown a preview of its Navara-based ute in Stockholm. It should arrive near the end of next year and it will be called the "X-Class".
It looks pretty good from the back, too: I'm not too happy about the fact that it uses the Nissan Navara's platform (since they don't have a great reputation), but I might consider getting the off-road version if they make it into an X 65 AMG . The Renault Alaskan will use the same platform and will also be built in the same factory; the Nissan plant in Barcelona. Hopefully, this thing won't be as bad as the M-Class. -------------------- |

Simply opt for a G wagon and you're set

Looks like they're getting a head start:
It's said to be an X 63 AMG. Not quite a 65, but a V12 might not fit in a Navara . -------------------- |
