Hello Kevin,
My name is Max and I live in the Lakes District of New Zealand. I am just starting to make mods for HS (I've made 6 so far). I have many more projects in the queue, but I think I'll add this car to it (even though I'm mainly doing state/provincial police). I'll need pictures of the logos, but I guess they must be on either Police Car Web Site or the National Police Car Archives. I'll keep you posted. Regards, Max -------------------- |

Chris I know just the car..It's low poly and easy to mod, code4 and DodgeBoy's Ford Crownvic would work for that, Just need full pics of the sides and rear to do the markings is all.

Cool, where can I get the car and the badges?
The CVPI base that I have is Nils's one. It's too high-poly to use as a traffic car. Code 4 also made a Ventura Couty Sheriff CVPI, so you can have two local cop cars . Also, I see that the newer TO cars are using Valor lightbars. The one I'll be doing is the Whelen version, but maybe I could also make one with a Valor. I'll also try making that nudge-bar, because it's so common. I've been in Invercargill for the weekend, so I haven't had time to do anything. -------------------- |

Being as this is a sheriff's police I'd use the Ventura County S.O. car by Code4 to do this Max, Would be easiest Or you can use any other really and just put VENTURA COUNTY SHERIFF on the trunk and then POLICE below that like the pics have.

Sounds like a plan .
Also, Kevin; where did you get those photos from? Police Car Web Site and the National Police Car Archives could use photos like that. PWCS only has a Thousand Oaks Police 1997 Crown Victoria (which I'm also going to do) and NPCA doesn't have TO at all. If you can take some photos and send them in, I'm sure they would be appreciated . -------------------- |

The car is now finished!
That being said; I thought I'd PM Code 4 to ask for permission before releasing it. Attached Image -------------------- |

The base is xj220 bases so it fine .All the bases that Code 4 has used are NFS Police HQ bases . So you are fine . Great Work

Will I need an official NFS Police HQ Readme or can I make my own?
There's a lot of copyright information in one. Do I need to include all of that? -------------------- |
